Commercial LPG installation covers everything from the storage tank or cylinder bank through to the pipework, regulators and appliances that run on it. Whether you’re fitting out a new restaurant kitchen, converting an industrial site that has no mains gas connection, or expanding an existing plant room, our Gas Safe registered engineers design and install commercial LPG systems that are safe, efficient and built to last.
Every installation is sized to your site’s actual demand, sited to meet safety separation distances, and finished with full testing and commissioning before we hand the system over β see our wider commercial LPG gas services for the full range of support we provide once your system is live.

Installation questions, answered
How long does a commercial LPG installation take?
Most commercial LPG installations take between two and five days on site, depending on tank size, pipework runs and the number of appliances connected. Larger multi-tank or industrial installations can take longer.
Do I need planning permission for an LPG tank?
Above-ground commercial LPG tanks usually fall under permitted development, but siting must still meet separation distances from boundaries, buildings and ignition sources. We confirm this during your tank installation survey.
Can you install LPG where there is no mains gas?
Yes. Commercial LPG installation is the standard solution for sites without a mains gas connection, supplying heating, hot water and catering equipment from an on-site tank or cylinder bank.
Is a gas safety certificate included with installation?
Yes. Every installation includes full testing and commissioning and the relevant gas safety certification, so your system is compliant from day one.
Can existing LPG systems be upgraded or extended?
Yes. We regularly extend pipework, add appliances, or upgrade tank capacity as part of our planned maintenance and repair work.
